Course Description
This exploratory course is designed to give the beginning student an opportunity to explore the many areas of the metal working industry. Basic information such as the types and properties of metals, as well as measuring and layout, will be followed by activities including bending, forming, foundry, welding, and sheet metal fabrication. Career opportunities in the metal working industry will be investigated. |

This course fulfills the four year math experience NH DOE Minimum Standards for Public School requirement. The course, however, does not fulfill the 3 credit math graduation requirement. |
